Job details
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs. Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials. Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments. Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures. Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt. Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Work with minimal supervision. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Hard hat. Safety glasses/goggles. Safety vest. Personal suitability: Reliability. Team player. Punctuality.
