*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and excellent customer service. The service we are providing is Laundry Delivery for Kelowna Hospital and Penticton Hospital 7 Days a week and also on any holidays and or Stat Holidays this route is active. *Duties* * Operate commercial trucks to transport freight to various locations in a timely manner in the Okanagan * Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. * Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight during transit. * Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery times. * Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise. * Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations while on the road. * Perform routine maintenance on the vehicle as needed, including basic automotive repairs. * Essential Service , operating 7 days a week all year round including Stat Holidays. * Vacation Time is allowed after 1 year of employment. * Some loading and unloading of Laundry carts at the 2 Hospitals * Must be physically capable of moving trailer load of carts in and out of the trailers. *Skills* * Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL license. * Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols. * Excellent navigational skills with the ability to read maps and use GPS technology effectively. * Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot minor mechanical issues. * Good communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
