\*Job Overview\* We are seeking a skilled Optician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for eye care and providing exceptional service to our clients. \*Duties\* - Assist customers in selecting eyewear that meets their prescription needs and style preferences - Take accurate measurements for eyeglasses and ensure proper fit - Educate customers on lens options, coatings, and frames - Adjust and repair eyewear as needed - Process orders and maintain accurate customer records - Work closely with optometrists to ensure seamless patient care - Pre-testing with OCT, Visual Field, Auto-Refractor - Operate onsite lens edging equipment - Contact lens instruction with patients \*Requirements\* - Knowledge of optical concepts and terminology - Experience in retail sales, preferably in an optical setting - Strong sales skills with a focus on customer satisfaction - Familiarity with electronic health record systems is a plus - Ability to work in a laboratory setting for lens preparation is required Job Type: Full-time Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Additional pay: * Bonus pay * Overtime pay Benefits: * Vision care * Wellness program Schedule: * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2025-01-08- LocationToronto, ON
