*Let?s talk!* *TYCROP* is looking for a *Brake Press Operator *(Weekend Shift) to join our team in the Fraser Valley. * Looking for a new job for career advancement? * Looking for a 3x12; Weekend Shift (Fri, Sat, Sun) that pays the equivalent of a 40-hours work week_?_ If you said *yes* to these questions, we may have an opportunity for you right here in the Fraser Valley. *Responsibilities:* * Run bend and forming operations using standard and custom punches. * Use a CNC controller to input information into machine. * Adjust ram and back gauge locations per process control instructions and blueprints. * Perform programming using all features of the press brake. * Work with tight tolerances. * Produce parts for assembly operations. * Meet customer specifications and delivery requirements. * Program the CNC to produce new parts meeting specifications. * Perform spot inspections of parts. * Perform all required routine and minor maintenance activities according to procedures. * Complete and maintain paperwork. * Identify assembly parts. * Set up light gauge metal. * Configure bend allowances for sheet metal (stainless, aluminum & regular steel). * Check machine for defects and repair if necessary. * Ensure machine is calibrated and cleaned. * Read drawings and blueprints. *Qualifications:* * High school or equivalent * At least one year of experience in metal fabrication or related work preferred. *Skills:* * Good problem solving and analytical skills to fix errors. * Attention to details and precision measurement. Keen attention to detail is required. * Ability to perform repetitive movements. * Must be able to lift 10lbs to 50lbs. At TYCROP, we value our people ? and it shows.
