*Overview*
We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, a strong background in restaurant management, and the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, menu development, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.
*Duties*
* Lead and manage all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
* Develop innovative menus that reflect current food trends while maintaining the restaurant's unique style.
* Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and support to ensure high performance and adherence to food safety standards.
* Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs effectively.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all aspects of food handling and preparation.
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area at all times.
* Stay updated on industry trends to continually enhance the dining experience.
*Requirements*
* Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within the food industry.
* Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, including menu planning, food handling, and safety regulations.
* Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse group of culinary professionals.
* Experience in supervising kitchen staff and managing restaurant operations effectively.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* Culinary degree or equivalent experience is preferred but not mandatory.
* Bartending experience is a plus for establishments that serve alcohol.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 ? 50 per week

* Cooking: 3 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
* Food Handler Certification (preferred)
