```Duties```
- Greet and welcome patients in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls and book patient appointments
- Provide accurate information to callers patients and insurance companies regarding patient appointments and service information
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for staff members
- Post to social media weekly to keep the patients informed on upcoming services at the office.
- Direct bill to insurance companies
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry
- Receive and distribute incoming mail and packages
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area and assist and laundry services for massage therapy and clinic linens.
```Experience```
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
- Familiarity with medical office procedures is a plus, including use of electronic health care records (EHR)
- Proficiency in using office software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience with direct billing insurance companies is an asset but not required
- Experience with marketing and using social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook is preferred
- Experience with QuickBooks or other accounting software is a bonus
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional phone etiquette
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Attention to detail, including proofreading skills, to ensure accuracy in written communications
