We are looking for a dedicated Senior Project Manager to join our close-knit team and help us continue to grow.</p><p>Job Summary: As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing complex construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in managing day-to-day operations, coordinating construction crews, and maintaining high safety and efficiency standards. You must be an effective leader, capable of handling both the technical and management aspects of construction projects. You will lead project teams, manage client relationships, and ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.</p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Oversee one or multiple construction sites daily.</li><li>Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors to ensure alignment and satisfaction.</li><li>Supervise all aspects of construction, including structural, mechanical, electrical, and civil components.</li><li>Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential challenges.</li><li>Lead and manage a crew of labourers, ensuring productivity and efficient workflow.</li><li>Monitor project progress and performance, implementing corrective actions as needed.</li><li>Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.</li><li>Interpret and understand construction drawings and plans.</li><li>Operate various types of construction equipment, such as skid steers, lifts, etc.</li><li>Maintain regular communication through email and text, and provide updates as required.</li></ul><p>Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Minimum of 15 years of construction experience.</li><li>Proven track record of successfully managing multiple complex commercial construction projects, particularly in steel construction.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret structural, mechanical, electrical, and civil drawings.</li><li>Competence with construction equipment operation.</li><li>Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Proficient in basic computer skills, including emailing and texting.</li></ul><p>What We Offer:</p><ul><li>Competitive salary and benefits in a supportive, family-oriented environment.</li><li>Opportunities for professional growth and development within a small team.</li><li>The chance to work on exciting, large-scale commercial construction projects.</li></ul><p><br />Boychuk Design Build is an equal-opportunity employer.
