<p><strong> </strong><strong><em>General summary</em></strong></p><p>Cannara Biotech is looking for an <em>IT Security Administrator, </em>who will help the IT team proactively ensure the security of all components as well as manage backups. You'll need to build a comprehensive cyber defense program, protecting our sensitive data, systems, and assets from today's threats and tomorrow's emerging threats.</p><p><strong><em>Main tasks and responsibilities</em></strong></p><ul><li>Develop and manage a cyber threat intelligence program, by collecting and analyzing threat data from internal and external sources;</li><li>Document and maintain backups and periodically test recovery procedures;</li><li>Assist the IT team with daily administration tasks including user management, network infrastructure and tech support;</li><li>Validate patch management across Windows AD, firewalls and virtual networks;</li><li>Identify new threats and vulnerabilities, anticipate potential attacks, and create and develop defensive strategies;</li><li>Work collaboratively with other members of the IT team in the event of a security incident, ensuring that timely and effective responses are provided in order to mitigate and minimize damage;</li><li>Perform post-incident analysis to identify root causes and implement preventive measures to prevent recurrence of security incidents;</li><li>Manage and optimize the security information and event management system;</li><li>Design and implement a comprehensive threat and vulnerability management program to identify, prioritize and remediate vulnerabilities in our IT infrastructure;</li><li>Manage vulnerability scanning activity using multiple tools covering network infrastructure and operating systems, while providing a unified view of prioritized threats for remediation activities.</li></ul> <br> <ul><li>Bachelor's degree in computer science or other relevant field, or any combination of education and equivalent experience;</li><li>At least 3 years of experience in the field of cyber defense or security administration;</li><li>In-depth experience with incident response methodologies and frameworks;</li><li>Experience with safety automation techniques;</li><li>Good understanding of threat intelligence principles and practices;</li><li>Highly understanding of cloud security principles (AWS);</li><li>Bilingualism (French and English): <em>Need to interact, on a regular basis, with colleagues from across the country;</em></li><li>Certifications such as CISSP, CISM or CISA are desired;</li><li>Ability to work from Montreal, Farnham and/or Valleyfield facilities.</li></ul>
