*Job Overview* We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Control Supervisor to oversee and optimize our inventory management processes. This position will require the candidate to be on-site Monday to Friday. The ideal candidate will report to the Inventory Manager and be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring efficient stock levels, and implementing best practices to enhance operational efficiency. This role is crucial in supporting our supply chain operations and contributing to the overall success of the organization. *Responsibilities* * Prepare reports on inventory performance metrics for management review * Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize excess inventory. * Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and reconcile discrepancies to ensure accuracy; knowledge and experience cycle counting, inventory categorization, and bin management * Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and make informed purchasing decisions. * Maintain organized storage areas and ensure proper labeling of all inventory items. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve inventory turnover rates. * Train and supervise staff on inventory management procedures and best practices. * Resolve problems, provide assistance and recommend measures to improve productivity * Coordinate, assign and review work *Skills* * Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. * 3+ years of experience in a similar role * Previous experience with barcoding and WMS systems is an asset * Proficiency in NetSuite inventory management software and Microsoft Excel. * Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail. * Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with team members and external partners. * Problem-solving abilities to address challenges in inventory management. * Knowledge of supply chain principles and best practices is a plus. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team under pressure and in a high-volume environment. * Ability to lift up to 50lbs Join our team as an Inventory Control Supervisor where you can contribute your expertise in helping oversee our inventory effectively while supporting the growth of our organization.
