*Job Summary* Seeking a hairstylist to rent a chair at Soulistic Salon! Contact for details for cost of a rental chair! We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hair styling and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for creating beautiful hairstyles/hair colouring while ensuring a welcoming and friendly environment for our clients. Your ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with customers will be key to your success in this role. *Duties* * Provide a variety of hair styling services, including cuts, colors, and treatments tailored to individual client needs. * Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, tools, and equipment to ensure a safe environment for both clients and staff. * Communicate with clients to understand their desired styles and provide professional recommendations. * Responsibe for scheduling appointments, checking clients in and out, and managing phone inquiries. * Deliver outstanding customer service by creating a positive experience for every client. * Upsell additional services and retail products to enhance the client experience and meet business goals. * Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling techniques and products through continuous education. *Skills* * Proficient in hair styling techniques with a strong portfolio showcasing your work. * Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members. * Experience in front desk operations is a plus, including appointment scheduling and customer management. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients quickly. * Ability to upsell services and retail products confidently while maintaining integrity. * Knowledge of retail sales practices related to beauty products is beneficial. * Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in all aspects of work.
