An import and food distribution company based in Port Coquitlam is looking for an experienced logistics coordinator. This role helps manage incoming and outgoing shipments while adhering to the requirements of the CBSA and the CFIA. Attention to detail and and previous experience with an ERP program is an asset for this role. *Primary duties:* * Contacting suppliers to place orders * Coordinate suppliers with freight forward companies in Spain and Italy * Call and identify new companies for shipping globally and locally within Canada * Create delivery schedules for delivery drivers in the local area * Create purchase orders in Netsuite ERP software * Book international and local shipments with freight companies * Book Air Shipments with airline companies * Send all import Documents to Customs broker * Apply for import certificates and keep Safe Foods For Canadian documentation accurate and up to date *Desired Experience:* * 1-3 years in a similar sales role * Worked with Importing and customs clearing * Strong in Microsoft Office * Class 5 drivers license an asset * Working with Netsuite ERP or similar *Desired Skills / Attributes:* * Passion and ability to learn on the go * A desire to drive sales and succeed in an entrepreneurial role * Resourcefulness * Solution-oriented * Positive attitude Please send in application with cover letter and resume.
