Let your career take flight by joining our diverse and vibrant team at the leading edge of passenger aviation.</strong></span></span></p> <div><span><span>Reporting to the IT Quality Assurance Manager, the Senior Analyst, IT Quality Assurance develops and delivers best in class, reliable and cost-effective quality assurance & quality control solutions for Air Canada?s technology systems and products. </span></span></div> <div><span><span></span></span></div> <div><span><span></span></span></div> <div><span><span><strong></strong></span></span></div> <div><span><span><strong>Responsibilities: </strong><strong></strong></span></span></div> <ul> <li><span><span><span><span>Collaborate w</span></span>ith cross functional teams and communicate to our internal and external stakeholders the test progression, defect status reports and operational performance</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Ensure creation and maintenance of test cases & scripts, test plans, test metrics, defect metrics and review of the design and efficacy of test cases and test scripts</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Consolidate data to produce KPI metrics and dashboards to report against product quality, test progressions, risk analysis and release readiness</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Analyze defects & release related incidents and customer feedback to identify trends and incorporate preventive actions and mitigations as required</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Perform sample testing of technology systems to verify compliance to customer requirements</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Ensure software quality assurance for all phases of larger and more-complex development projects</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Identify gaps in testing and quality issues and create solutions to be incorporated into software and firmware architecture</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Analyze technology trends to determine impact to the achievement of business goals</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Support the definition and maintenance of test methods, techniques and calculations for identifying ways to improve QA services</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Provide technical and operational inputs to Business Governance and Operational Management Committees</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Responsible for working within a sub-functional area to ensure synergistic collaboration and attain shared goals</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Responsible for supporting the development of technical capabilities of the on/offshore teams specific to their sub-function </span></span></li> <li><span><span>Participate in Management and Operational Committees according to cadence, as required</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Responsible for handling moderate to high amount of complexity and drive decision making specific to processes and priorities for a functional area</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Responsible for driving continuous improvement objectives for a functional area</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Leading a team of onshore/offshore testers</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Cross-functional interaction and communication with delivery stakeholders in addition to senior leaders</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Quality Control points, regulatory compliance to WCAG 2.0 and IT Internal Controls</span></span></li> <li><span><span>High - cross-functional collaboration, large to complex projects</span></span></li> </ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul> <li><span><span>A relevant University degree/technical certification, and/or relevant experience commensurate to the role</span></span></li> <li><span><span>6+ years in QA as a tester / test lead / test manager</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Strong knowledge of SQL scripting and data validation techniques</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Automation ex- LocationDorval, QC
