*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Café Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our café. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food industry, with expertise in restaurant management and a passion for providing exceptional hospitality. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure high standards of food safety, quality, and customer service while managing staff and maintaining efficient operations. *Responsibilities* * Supervise daily café operations, ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards. * Manage staff schedules, training, and performance evaluations to foster a positive work environment. * Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring quality control and adherence to recipes. * Handle cash management, including daily sales reconciliation and bank deposits. * Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and increase café patronage. * Maintain inventory levels for food supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary. * Collaborate with the kitchen team to create seasonal menus that reflect customer preferences. * Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to maintain high service standards. * Ensure the café is clean, organized, and welcoming for all guests. *Qualifications* * Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry. * Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. * Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. * Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on hospitality. * Proficient in cash handling procedures and financial management within a café or restaurant setting. * Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed. * Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of café operations.
