We're searching for someone to join our team of Educators! WHAT YOU'LL DO:- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities based on the principles of play and exploration- Develop and implement daily classroom schedules- Provide supervision and guidance of daily activities, field trips, and special activities- Lead children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and demonstrating the use of simple musical instruments- Prepare art materials and assist children in using them- Provide opportunity for creativity through the mediums of art, dramatic play, musical and physical fitness- Assess the developmental level of children through observation and documentation- Attend meetings, workshops, and professional development training to enhance teaching abilities- Take responsibility for individual classroom organization, ensuring clean, neat, and tidy appearance at all times- Ensure medication reports, incident reports, and injury reports are documented and administered accordingly- Guide children in the development of proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits- Arrange transition periods such as meal and rest time for children- Discuss progress and problems with children with Director- Follow and respect the guidelines and procedures regarding confidentiality of children, families, and co-workers- Provide daily feedback to parents about children's day, such as rest periods and activities WHAT YOU HAVE:- ECE I, II, or III- Experience in a classroom or early childhood education setting- CPR & Standard First Aid- Clean criminal record with vulnerable sector check, recent within the past 6 months WHAT WE PROVIDE YOU:- Competitive wages, in line with other licensed Saskatchewan childcare facilities- 3 weeks' annual paid vacation- 1 additional week paid Northern Leave after 1 years continuous employment- Group benefits after 3 months' continuous employment
