*Administrative Assistant *
STC Industrial Contracting, a division of the STC Industrial Group of Companies, is a First Nations owned industrial construction & maintenance contracting company delivering safe, competitive, quality services to our clients, and engagement and growth to Indigenous communities and people.
Under general supervision, the Administrative Assistant is to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. These include providing support to our managers and employees, assisting in daily office needs and managing general administrative activities.
*Duties & Responsibilities:*
· Organize and schedule appointments
· Plan meetings and take detailed minutes
· Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
· Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
· Maintain a filing system
· Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
· Maintain contact lists
· Book travel arrangements
· Submit and reconcile expense reports
· Provide general support to visitors
· Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
· General data entry
· Receiving and tracking of client supplied materials
· Other duties as directed by supervisor
*Experience:*
· Completion of a business related certificate or diploma
· Some understanding and experience in the manufacturing or construction industry would be preferable.
· Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
· Strong Microsoft Office Suite Skills; specifically proficient in excel
