*Job Overview* We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our brand new operation in Oakville in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse by managing inventory, processing shipments, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This highly physical position requires the ability to handle heavy lifting and operate various warehouse equipment. *Duties* * Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders. * Package products for shipping, ensuring accuracy and quality. * Utilize a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory levels and manage stock. * Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts for moving materials within the warehouse. * Perform shipping and receiving duties, including preparing shipping documents and coordinating with carriers. * Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency. * Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in inventory management tasks. *Qualifications* * Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred. * Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is essential. * Reliable and dedicated. * Ability to operate heavy equipment safely, including forklifts. * Strong physical stamina with the capability of heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds). * Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. * Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team. * Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
