At Mount Ida Pharmacy we strive to provide fast and friendly service to our customers and patients while they are shopping in our store front and filling prescriptions. We are looking for staff with a strong work ethic, great people skills and attention to detail. Some pharmacy experience is a huge asset though not a requirement. We have a fun, energetic work environment, and you will enjoy working with us if you love learning and you enjoy helping people. The jobs duties and responsibilities are the following: Accepting prescriptions at the drop off counter. Accepting refill requests over the phone. Computer work involved with filling prescriptions. Counting and packaging medication. Operating the till for prescriptions and front store merchandise. Blister packing medications. Cleaning and tidying. The job will be scheduled for Saturday shift 8:30AM-3:30PM and 1-2 evening shifts 4-7pm Pay will start at $17.50 an hour. We are willing to pay more for an experienced Pharmacy Assistant.
