Job details
Develop and maintain a database of customers and brokers for new and existing client development. Enter all orders into dispatch software. Locate, validate and onboard new sources of carrier capacity to meet the needs of the network. Coordinate the resolution of assessorial charges, disputes, and general carrier issue. Evaluate changes in market conditions and negotiate best purchase price while assessing all angles of the situation. Provide excellent customer & carrier service and handle all queries promptly. Negotiate rates based on researched market trends and averages of similar prior loads. Track and trace all loads from point of origin to ensure customer requirements are met. Respond to tracing requests from customers as requested. Other duties as required to provide top level customer service both externally internally.
