Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. Work setting: Urban area. Cafeterias and fast food outlets. Hospital/medical facility or clinic. Pharmacy or drugstore. Tasks: Ensure the information on prescriptions is accurate. Enter client information in databases. Prepare medications for clients. Bill third party insurers. Compound oral solutions, ointments and creams. Maintain inventories of medications and prescription records of pharmaceutical products. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Fast-paced environment. Standing for extended periods.
