Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Tasks: Prepare engineering designs and drawings. Read blueprints to determine work requirements . Supervise other drafting personnel . Train new drafting personnel. Develop and prepare design sketches. Write technical reports. Write specifications. Complete documentation packages and drawing sets. Examine drawings for conformity and errors. Consult with client, engineers or production specialists to establish product requirements. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : AutoCAD Certification. Type of drafting: Detailing drafting. Computer and technology knowledge: Computer-aided design (CAD). AutoCAD. MS Office.
