Operate brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines. Determine weldability of materials. Operate hoisting and lifting equipment. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Fall Arrest Protection Training Course. Type of materials: Aluminum alloys. Composite materials. Copper and copper alloys. Nickel alloys. Non-ferrous materials. Non-metallic materials. Plasma coatings. Stainless steel. Steel, iron and heavy metals. Welding techniques: Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) (TIG). Stud. Spool. Brazing and soldering. Laser. Equipment and machinery experience: Gas welding machine. Soldering machine. Spot welding machine. Security and safety: Basic security clearance. Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Willing to travel regularly. Valid driver's licence.
