You?ll manage and coach a team of underwriters and partner with sales staff in preparing files for approval, ensuring consistency in approach and risk mitigation.<br><br>This is a bilingual position. We encourage all candidates to submit their application, regardless of whether they believe they meet the linguistic requirements of the position. Qualified candidates will complete a language evaluation in their second official language and if necessary, be supported with language training.<p></p><p></p><p><b>What you?ll do: </b></p><ul><li>Review your team members? narrative underwriting for ag production proposals prior to Credit Risk submission to ensure narratives are succinct and complete</li><li>Provide sound advice, detailed feedback and intensive coaching to underwriters</li><li>Serve as a primary communication channel between Credit Risk and sales staff for all credit applications that run through the regional team</li></ul><p></p><p><b>What we?re looking for: </b></p><ul><li>Proven leader with an established track record of collaborating with internal and external partners</li><li>A highly professional approach to business and partner relationships</li><li>Strong communicator who can explain complex information and share knowledge to diverse audiences</li><li>Analytical thinker with the ability to evaluate complex lending situations</li></ul><p></p><p><b>What you?ll need: </b></p><ul><li>A bachelor?s degree and at least five years of experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)</li><li>Expertise in analyzing ag production lending opportunities, and applying advanced credit analysis and risk mitigation strategies to lending situations</li><li>Proven experience in underwriting credit applications</li><li>Ag Production lending experience is considered an asset</li></ul><p></p><p>#FCCEN</p>- LocationLindsay, ON
