*Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. *Duties* * Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing equipment. * Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems. * Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete plumbing tasks. * Perform welding tasks as needed for pipe fittings and connections. * Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or potential problems. * Assemble and install valves, fittings, and fixtures in accordance with specifications. * Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations. * Communicate effectively with clients to explain issues and provide solutions. *Skills* * Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to plumbing tasks. * Ability to weld pipes and fittings as required. * Experience with commercial driving may be beneficial for transporting materials. * Strong skills in plumbing installation and repair techniques. * Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions accurately. * Capability for heavy lifting as necessary during installations or repairs. * Familiarity with carpentry skills can be an asset when working on plumbing projects that require structural modifications. * Ability to read schematics and technical drawings related to plumbing systems. * Competence in assembling various components of plumbing systems efficiently.
