Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Office building. Commercial facility. Hospital/medical facility or clinic. Shopping centre or mall. Commercial building. Various locations. Tasks: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers. Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards. Assist cleaners in performing duties. Establish work schedules. Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture. Pick up debris and empty trash containers. Dust furniture. Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors. Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances. Supervision: Light duty cleaners. Area of work experience: Snow removal. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Tight deadlines. Repetitive tasks. Standing for extended periods.
