*Regulated Pharmacy Technician* Guardian Pharmacy-New Westminster and Surrey Locations _*Are you looking for a long-term, challenging position and rewarding career as a Regulated Pharmacy Technician?*_ We are a community pharmacy group that has owned and operated independent pharmacies for over 30 years in Lower Mainland and are looking for a full-time or part- time, permanent Regulated Pharmacy Technician for our New Westminster and Surrey locations. *As a pharmacy we offer:* * Competitive wages * Extended benefits (health and dental) * Flexible hours, day shift * Professional environment * Opportunities for development and career progression * College license fees and dues will be paid after 1 year cycle *The successful candidate will have the following:* * A valid Regulated Pharmacy Technician license that is in good standing with the *College of Pharmacists in BC * * Outgoing, with strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment * Ability to work as a team player and have a team approach * Proficient computer/data/entry skills * Strong motivation to succeed * Desire to improve and grow * Experience preferable *Your responsibilities will include*: · Assisting the Pharmacists and Pharmacy Manager with the processing and preparation of prescriptions · Ordering and receiving drug orders and management of the pharmacy department inventory · Operating the pharmacy computer, typing, and checking · Counting and packaging medications · Customer service, telephone inquiries and general duties · General assistance to the pharmacy in other duties Compensation $30 to $32 per hour based on experience and skills.
