*Company description* We are a group of six independently owned and operated pharmacy locations proudly serving all of Kelowna, Lake Country and the surrounding Okanagan area. Our goal is to provide our patients with all their pharmacy needs including Custom Compounding, Compliance Pill Packaging, Home Health Care and Medical Supplies. Our company culture is one that promotes a positive work environment and work-life balance. *Job description* We are looking for a *full-time Pharmacy Assistant *at Dyck's Pharmacists in Kelowna. This position will be *based at our Springfield location*. Shifts are 830am-5pm. This pharmacy is closed on weekends. As a Pharmacy Assistant you will be responsible for processing and preparing prescriptions, assisting patients in person and over the phone, cashier duties, preparation of pill packs, preparing deliveries, ordering and inventory management, and assisting the Pharmacists with daily operations of the Pharmacy. The successful candidate will have: * Good verbal and written communication skills * The ability to work both independently and as part of a team * Exceptional customer service skills * Good organizational skills and the ability to multi task * Basic computer skills * Problem solving skills * Previous pharmacy experience required * Ability to commute to any of the Dyck's Pharmacists locations in Kelowna *Wage is negotiable and will be based on previous pharmacy experience.* Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: From $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 32 ? 40 per week Benefits: * Extended health care * Store discount Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * No weekends Experience: * pharmacy: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationKelowna, BC
