DescriptionA Degree in Accounting is required Professional Accounting Designation (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA) is required Five (5) years of progressively responsible financial reporting experience, including 1 year of supervisory experience Skills required for success: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong attention to detail are required Significant knowledge and experience with SAP, Google Suite and other related systems within the context of the work Understanding of public sector accounting standards as directed by Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada Public Sector Handbook Strong understanding of year-end accounting processes and experience with preparation of complex financial statements and reconciliations Ability to adhere to established business practices, internal controls and policies within a large corporate environment High level of analytical and conceptual skills to identify and resolve- LocationEdmonton, AB
