Position: Security GuardSite: Trudell Medical International Site Address: 725 Baransway Drive, London, ON N5V 5G4Status: Full TimeHours: Monday - Thursday 1900 - 0300hrsPay Rate: $18.00/hrPosting Date: December 20, 2024Closing Date: December 31, 2024Position Overview:This post will require you to work outside frequently in all weather conditions (extreme cold, snow, rain, etc.). You can expect to be outside 30 minutes of every hour.? You will be patrolling the parking lot to ensure only employees are utilizing the lot and work with our client to document unauthorized vehicles.? During employee shift change times you will be posted outside to ensure employees make it safely to their vehicles. Duties include but are not limited to Access Control, Conduct Security Patrols, Respond to Emergency Situations. Essential Job Functions: Be courteous and cooperative with a high quality of customer serviceGood interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively at various social levels and across diverse culturesAble to maintain a professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances and people under conditions of urgency and in pressure situationsWrite clear, concise, and legible reportsCommunicates any concerns/issues with Operations ManagerRequirements: Working knowledge of the Trespass to Property ActExcellent communication skills with a focus on customer service along with good computer abilities are all core requirementsSuperior written and verbal communication skills. Ability to write clear, concise, and legible reportsDemonstrated punctuality and reliability, tact and diplomacyPatrol assigned area on foot, as assigned, to ensure personal, building, and equipment securityWatch for and report irregularities by completing investigations and incident reports, such as security breaches, facility and safety hazards, and emergency situations; contact emergency responders, such as police, fire, and/or ambulance personnel, as requiredSustain effective relationships with key stakeholders and provide specialized security services by enforcing rules and regulations when requiredOffer support to any person in need such as providing good customer service when providing a security presence, such as providing direction, responding to emergency situation involving violent individuals and injuriesPerform miscellaneous job-related duties as assignedHighlights: Extensive Paid Industry Training Employer Paid Benefits Opportunities for Growth & Advancement At the time of the interview applicant must be able to produce proof of completion of the following prerequisites: A valid Ontario Security Guard Licence A valid First Aid Level C Certificate Proficient in English (both oral and written) Other InformationPaladin Security: Making the World a Safer and Friendlier Place because we CARE!
