*Overview* We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. $40/hr Flat Rate. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for automotive repair. This role involves diagnosing and repairing various vehicle issues while providing excellent customer service. The Automotive Technician will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing both hand tools and power tools to ensure vehicles are maintained to the highest standards. *Duties* * Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems. * Utilize schematics to troubleshoot vehicle issues effectively. * Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks. * Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems. * Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. * Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently. * Engage with customers to explain repairs and maintenance needs clearly. * Collaborate with team members to improve service efficiency and customer satisfaction. * Perform heavy lifting as required during repairs or parts replacement. *Experience* * Proven experience in automotive repair or a related field is preferred. * Familiarity with dealership environments is a plus. * Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients. * Ability to read and interpret schematics for effective troubleshooting. * Proficiency in using various hand tools and power tools safely. * Experience with welding techniques is advantageous but not mandatory. * A commitment to ongoing professional development within the automotive industry.
