<p>Posting Number: T5-3914619 - Round 1<p>Description: Industrial Education Teacher (Metalwork & Automotive Technology) - Grades 8-12<p>Location : Fernie, BC<p>Contract Type : Full-time Temporary (1.0 FTE)<p> Salary Range: The starting annual salary for this full-time teaching position ranges from $63,357 to $112,345, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement. <p>Benefits: We offer a competitive benefits package and pension.<p><p><p>Terms and conditions pursuant to the Collective Agreement between the Cranbrook and Fernie Teachers' Association and School District No. 5 (Southeast Kootenay).<p>-Preference will be given to applicants with BC Teacher Certification. <p>-Must have a degree/formal training and/or teaching experience in subjects and at a level specific to each posting. <p><p><p>Job Summary: <p>Industrial Education Teacher (Metalwork & Automotive Technology) - Grades 8-12 <p><p>1.0 FTE temporary contract, starting January 27, 2025 or upon completion of the posting process to June 27, 2025.<p><p>Must have a degree/formal training and or teaching experience at the Secondary level. Must have a degree/formal training and or teaching experience in Metalwork. Must have a Red Seal in an applicable area, or a Diploma in the Technology Teacher Education Program, or the equivalent.<p><p>This position is scheduled to include Metalwork 8-12 and Auto Technology 11-12.
