At NorLand Limited, we?re seeking a skilled *Equipment Data Analyst* to support the corporate and regional equipment teams by performing trend analysis, forecasting, and scenario planning to guide strategic decisions related to the utilization of our equipment resources.
*Duties & Responsibilities:*
· Utilize data analytic tools to extract relevant insights from the ERP system, helping stakeholders make informed decisions.
· Collaborate with stakeholders to define relevant KPls aligned with equipment management objectives and transformation goals.
· Implement tracking mechanisms and dashboards to monitor KPls, providing real-time visibility into the overall performance and utilization of our equipment resources.
· Support the development of an equipment resource and fleet capacity forecast based on won and forecasted projects
· Support the implementation of a new ERP system with respect to Equipment Management.
· Ensuring that all equipment hours and information is coming in daily, is correct, and is being applied to the correct cost/phase codes. This applies to the financial system (Spectrum, soon to be LN) as well as the equipment maintenance system (B2W).
· Collaborate with Business Units to understand their business plans as they pertain to equipment needs (type, size, application) and duration of use to maintain the forecast and project fleet demands.
· Work with dispatchers and Regional Equipment Managers to ensure resource requirements for projects are tracked to analyze existing fleet deployment (underutilized vs. over-deployed equipment).
· Review utilization data, equipment costs, and revenues for equipment
· Identify underutilized equipment and explore redeployment options across regions or flag for potential sale or replacement.
· Leverage GPS telemetry to track equipment location, fuel efficiency, and utilization.
· Support the deployment of the new ERP system, including understanding system capabilities and limitations, overseeing data migration and integrations, supporting change management activities, and other system sustainment activities.
*What we?re looking for:*
* University Degree in business, information technology, finance or equivalent relevant experience.
* 3+ years of experience preferably in construction or an equipment intensive industry.
* Proficient in MS office applications, particularly MS Excel, Power Query and Power Bl.
* Operations oriented with a strong business sense and an analytical and problem-solving mindset.
* Results-orientated, self-starting, team player willing to work collaboratively toward achieving the strategic goals of the company.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with all levels in the organization
*Compensation*
The role is a permanent, full-time position with a typical salary is $85,000 per annum. The starting salary will be based on the successful candidate?s competencies, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and experience.
