*Overview*
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Truck and Trailer Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in maintaining and repairing trailers. This role is essential for ensuring the safety and reliability of our fleet, and it requires a commitment to high-quality workmanship and customer service.
*Duties*
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of Trucks (Freightliner, Volvo, Peterbilt, etc.) and trailers, including all inspections (safety and Preventive Maintenance), adjustments, and overhauls.
* Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals to ensure accurate repairs.
* Conduct electrical repairs, including wiring, lighting systems, (trucks and trailer) brakes and tires.
* Assemble components as needed to complete truck and trailer repairs efficiently.
* Operate forklifts safely to move trailers and parts within the shop environment.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
* Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repair needs and timelines.

*Skills*
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various mechanical systems.
* Proficiency in electrical systems related to trailer functionality.
* Experience in automotive repair is highly desirable.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs and maintenance tasks.
* Familiarity with schematics for diagnosing issues effectively.
* Previous experience working in a dealership environment is a plus.
* Excellent customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction throughout the repair process.
* AZ driving license is an advantage
* We accept non-license mechanics with proper experience.

Pay: $21.00-$30.00 per hour
