*Job Summary* We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations while ensuring excellent customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, and the ability to handle freight effectively. The Delivery Driver is responsible for transporting goods from our warehouse to customers in a timely and safe manner. This role involves ensuring accurate deliveries, maintaining the vehicle, and providing excellent customer service. *Key Responsibilities*: * *Transport Goods*: Safely and efficiently deliver products to customers' locations. * *Route Planning*: Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries. * *Customer Service*: Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive delivery experience. * *Load and Unload*: Load and unload goods from the delivery vehicle, ensuring items are handled with care. * *Vehicle Maintenance*: Perform regular maintenance checks on the delivery vehicle and report any issues. * *Documentation*: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times, customer signatures, and any discrepancies. * *Compliance*: Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies regarding delivery operations. *Requirements* * Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required. * Experience in commercial driving or freight handling is preferred. * Knowledge of heavy equipment operation is a plus. * Basic automotive repair skills are beneficial for vehicle maintenance tasks. * Forklift certification is desirable but not mandatory; training may be provided. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. * Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members professionally. * Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading freight.
