Be your own boss at Shear Amazement & Luminous Spa! Shear Amazement & Luminous Spa was created in a small suite originally as just hair services by the owner and has grown into a much larger company! It started out as just shear amazement for 7 years and the owner has recently purchased a large salon and spa that was already operational. We combined the companies and are looking to grow the spa area of our location. We are open to all fields of cosmetology or any fit that may be suitable for this environment. We are looking for someone who knows and is confident in their industry and is wanting to be their own boss. You will be building your own business within our business as a renter. You have control of your own hours, pay, products, etc. Owner includes wifi and all utilites in the rental amount. We have 2 pedicure chairs available and 1 manicure table. We also have a spa room with a hydraulic bed that can be included if needed! The spa is stocked with product that the owner is willing to sell for a good price to get you started on the right foot! Your success is our success and vice versa * Flexible work schedule: Be your own boss *Responsibilities* * Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients and addressing their needs promptly. * Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment to ensure client safety and comfort. * Perform various beauty services, including body waxing, hair styling, and makeup application. * Demonstrate and promote retail products to enhance guest experiences and drive sales. * Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and offer tailored services. * Pay your rent and create your own booming business alongside our award winning salon *Qualifications* * Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction * Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients * Knowledge of sanitation practices to maintain a clean and safe environment * Proficiency in beauty services such as body waxing, nail care, etc * Ability to conduct product demonstrations and provide exceptional guest services * Proof of insurance and certifications to perform desired services Job Type: Freelance Pay: From $17.20 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40 per week Additional pay: * Tips Benefits: * Flexible schedule * On-site parking * Store discount Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * Day shift * Evening shift * Monday to Friday * Morning shift * Weekends as needed Experience: * aesthetician: 1 year (required) Licence/Certification: * Esthetician License in Canada (required) Work Location: In person
