Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. Work setting: Chronic or long-term care facilities/centres. Tasks: Assist health care professionals. Carry out treatment programs, under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists, to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities. Set up and dismantle equipment. Maintain inventory of equipment. Document patient rehabilitation progress. Perform general clerical duties. Organize and maintain inventory. Accompany clients to appointments and social outings. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Experience: Experience an asset. Health benefits: Dental plan. Disability benefits. Health care plan.
