We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented *Computer Technician* to diagnose, repair, and maintain various computer systems, mobile devices, and IT hardware. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology, has excellent problem-solving skills, customer service skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. *Key Responsibilities* * Diagnose and repair hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, gaming consoles, and other electronic devices. * Assist with Level 1 mobile device repair (Screens, batteries) * Perform system upgrades, software installations, and virus removal. * Diagnose and solve hardware and software issues with Microsoft Windows, MacOS * Assemble and configure custom-built computers based on client specifications. * Provide excellent customer service by explaining issues and solutions in a clear, non-technical manner. * Assist with networking, smart home setups, and security system installations. * Maintain an organized and efficient workspace. * Keep up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies. *Qualifications & Skills* * Experience in computer repair and troubleshooting. * Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and basic networking concepts. * Familiarity with common hardware components and their replacements. * Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently. * Excellent communication and customer service skills. * A+ Certification or equivalent is an asset. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour Expected hours: 25 ? 40 per week Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Application question(s): * Customer comes in complaining of a slow laptop that is 4-5 years old and running a HDD. List brief steps to diagnose problem and present a solution * A desktop is brought in and customer states it has no power. Symptoms are no POST and powers up for 3-5 seconds before shutting down. List probable solutions * Customer brings in a laptop with its adapter. States the laptop doesn't charge. List probable cause and diagnostic steps to narrow fault Work Location: In person
