<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p>We currently need an experienced valid D licenced driver to operate our company trucks with automatic transmission.</p><p>We are an Ontario distributor specializing in LTL palletized freight.</p><p>95% of our loads are to and from our Woodbridge distribution centre.</p><p><strong>Equipment:</strong></p><ul><li>Straight truck 26ft box with tailgate and automatic transmission</li></ul><p><strong>Hours:</strong></p><p>Full-time 40 to 60 hours per week</p><p><strong>Duties include:</strong></p><ul><li>Loading and unloading of trucks, using pallet jacks, electric walkies or forklifts</li><li>Safe and timely deliveries to local delivery destinations, mostly dock to dock and the occasional tailgate unloading</li><li>Daily vehicle inspection and filling out of appropriate documents</li><li>Contacting customers to arrange and confirm delivery times</li><li>Assisting in the warehouse when required</li><li>Some hand-bombing may be required</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of verifiable commercial driving experience</li><li>Must have valid Ontario D or DZ Class license and provide clean abstract (current within 30 days). Solid knowledge of the GTA and surrounding areas.</li><li>Must be able to lift 55lbs on a regular basis and willing to work in all types of weather safely loading and unloading deliveries.</li><li>Excellent communications skills and sound judgement.</li><li>Ensuring that every customer is treated in the same fair and consistent manner by remaining professional both in conduct and appearance.</li></ul><p> </p><ul><li>Follow all paperwork procedures related to the delivery and pick-up of products.</li><li>Professional appearance and mannerism</li><li>Previous local LTL pickup and delivery experience</li><li>Experienced in operating pallet jacks, tailgate, and other related equipment.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>We Offer:</strong></p><ul><li>A clean, stress-free, family-like work environment</li><li>Ability to advance your career through promotions and other incentives</li><li>Company benefit program</li></ul><p> </p></div>Company Description<div>We have successfully developed strong brands in hardware, hand tools, power tools and home & garden accessories.
