You are a fast-paced and efficient worker who is ready to jump in to take on the following key responsibilities:</p><ul><li><p>Can design and develop responsive, intuitive websites using WordPress, ensuring high functionality and aesthetics.</p></li><li><p>Create back-end code and interfaces for new web platforms</p></li><li><p>Implement SEO best practices to optimize website content, structure, and performance for improved search engine rankings.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with key decision-makers to gather requirements and translate them into engaging web experiences.</p></li><li><p>Analyze user needs to implement website content, graphics, performance, and capacity.</p></li><li><p>Integrate websites with other computer applications.</p></li><li><p>Some basic photography and photo editing experience is helpful for in-house content creation.</p></li><li><p>Support basic graphic design tasks to create compelling visuals for web content.</p></li><li><p>Some social media experience.</p></li><li><p>Keep up-to-date on web developments and trends.</p></li></ul><p><strong>YOUR EXPERIENCE:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Previous experience in web development or other related fields.</p></li><li><p>Expert-level proficiency in WordPress, with a strong portfolio showcasing WordPress-based website designs.</p></li><li><p>In-depth understanding and practical experience in SEO principles and best practices.</p></li><li><p>Proficiency in photo editing tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva) and basic graphic design skills.</p></li><li><p>Solid understanding of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.</p></li><li><p>Strong attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment.</p></li><li><p>Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills</p></li><li><p>Strong attention to detail</p></li></ul><p><strong>NOT MANDATORY BUT A PLUS:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Experience with e-commerce platforms and plugins (e.g., WooCommerce).</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with UX/UI principles and best practices.</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of responsive design techniques for mobile optimization.</p></li></ul><p>STARTING WAGE IS $55,000 with potential of up to $65,000 based on experience.</p></div>Company Description<div>Marks Health and Wellness | CanShipMeds is a brick-and-mortar pharmacy inside a medical clinic, also serving the local community in Vancouver, British Columbia.
