We have been at this location since 1975 and we pride ourselves on providing exceptional service and supplying quality products for home finishing solutions. \*\*Job Summary:\*\* We are seeking a Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist customers in finding and purchasing products, provide excellent customer service, and contribute to the overall success of our retail store. This is a full time position with Thursday and Sunday off. \*\*Duties:\*\* - Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner - Operate Point of Sale (POS) system for transactions - Handle cash transactions accurately - Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits - Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, and lumber yard - Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves - Answer customer inquiries via phone or in-person - Utilize strong communication skills to provide product information and recommendations -Help Customers load material into vehicles, including cutting of plywood and mouldings to fit -Help delivery driver load and unload product \*\*Qualifications:\*\* - Prior experience in retail sales is preferred - Proficiency in cashiering and cash handling procedures - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail - Ability to effectively communicate with customers and team members - Familiarity with technical sales or product demos is a plus - Knowledge of English language for effective communication Join our team as a Retail Sales Associate and be part of a dynamic retail environment where you can grow your skills and contribute to delivering exceptional customer service.
