Education: Bachelor's degree. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Pediatrics. Private practice. Tasks: Analyse clients' capabilities and expectations related to life activities through observation, interviews and formal assessments. Consult and advise on health promotion programs to prevent disabilities and to maximize independent function in all activities of life. Develop and implement treatment programs. Evaluate treatment progress. Maintain clinical and progress reports. Conduct research in occupational therapy. Hire, train, direct and motivate staff. Leading/instructing individuals. Supervision: 5-10 people. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Own transportation. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Fast-paced environment. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Work under pressure. Personal suitability: Client focus. Efficient interpersonal skills.
