We are looking for an experienced Intermediate Accountant to join the team in Great Vancouver Canada, who shall be self-motivated, independent and teamwork, with strong communication skills, work ethic, and academic/professional background. *Intermediate Accountant* *Responsibilities:* Full cycle monthly accounting for a large portfolio of varying types of properties, including but not limited to commercial, residential properties; Analyze and report on financial status including income statement variances, communicate financial results to management; Cash Flow management including monthly bank reconciliations; Track project costs in the accounting system, including budgets, incurred costs, costs to complete, committed costs, and projected final costs, aligning with the monthly draw package. Year end budget and audit preparation. *Requirements:* * 2+ years Real Estate accounting experience; * High level experience in Microsoft Office; * Strong analytical skills and experience working with complex transactions; * A CPA designation is preferred; * 3+ years property management accounting experience preferred; * Experience in the hospitality industry is an asset; * Functional knowledge of investments, business, commercial lending, and cash management an asset; * Fluency in the second language (Cantonese, Mandarin) is preferred.
