Spartan Excavation & Landscaping is a Winnipeg owned company. We provide landscaping and skid-steer services to both homeowners and contractors and pride ourselves on quality workmanship. We are looking for a reliable and detail oriented individual to join our team. The right candidate will be willing to work hard, is able to follow directions, takes initiative, enjoys working independently and as part of a team, and can achieve goals in a timely and safe manner. *Requirements:* * Must have a class 5 License (Class 3 or Airbrake Endorsement is an asset) * Reliable transportation to/from shop or job site. * CSA approved steel-toe work boots. * Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs up to 100 lbs. * Ability to work long hours and withstand hot temperatures. * Knowledge with basic hand and power tools. *Additional Asset Skills:* * Experience driving a pickup truck with trailer. * Experience in landscaping and hardscaping installation. * Experience with Skid Steer operation. *Duties include but are not limited to:* * Load, unload, and transport materials (sod, soil, gravel, paving stones, etc). * Use of landscaping and construction tools to complete daily tasks. * Assist in the installation of landscaping and hardscaping materials. *Salary:* * Paid Bi-Weekly. * Vacation paid on every cheque. * Long weekends off with paid stats. * Weekend and overtime work may be available. * Starting wage depends on experience. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal Pay: $18.00-$30.00 per hour Flexible language requirement: * French not required Application question(s): * Ability to work long hours in the heat? * Ability to repeatedly lift and carry minimum of 50lbs?
