*Job Summary* We are seeking a friendly and efficient Sandwich Artist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing fresh sandwiches and salads, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation, food safety, and customer interaction within a fast-paced restaurant setting. *Duties* * Prepare sandwiches, salads, and other menu items according to company standards and recipes * Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling * Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders and answering questions about menu options * Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy hours * Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are strictly followed throughout food handling and preparation * Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and dining areas in compliance with health regulations * Upsell additional menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales * Assist with restocking supplies and organizing the work area as needed *Qualifications* * Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required * Knowledge of food preparation, food handling, and sanitation practices * Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus * Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude * Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced setting * Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy * Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset * Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently * Commitment to food safety standards and cleanliness regulations Join our team as a Sandwich Artist to deliver quality food and exceptional service in a dynamic environment.
