*Overview* We are seeking a licensed *313A Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic* with exclusive experience in commercial and industrial environments. In this role, you will service, maintain, troubleshoot, and install large-scale commercial HVAC/R systems. You will not service residential equipment. This position requires deep technical expertise in complex commercial systems, a strong safety mindset, and excellent customer-facing skills.Key Responsibilities * Maintain and Repair: Diagnose, service, and repair commercial HVAC/R equipment including chillers, rooftop units (RTUs), built-up systems, multi-zone heat pumps, exhaust fans, and cooling towers. * System Diagnostics: Troubleshoot complex electrical, mechanical, and electronic controls, including building automation systems (BAS). * Retrofits & Installs: Perform system modifications, component replacements (compressors, DX coils, fan motors), and full equipment retrofits. * Preventative Care: Execute scheduled preventative maintenance agreements to maximize system efficiency and longevity for commercial clients. * Compliance & Safety: Maintain accurate digital service logs, refrigerant tracking sheets, and strictly adhere to OHSA regulations and company safety protocols. Required Qualifications & Skills * *Trade License:* *Valid Ontario 313A Certificate of Qualification (Journeyperson status) a must * * Gas Ticket: Valid TSSA G1 or G2 Gas Technician license is required. * Experience Profile: Minimum of 3?5 years of dedicated, hands-on experience in commercial or industrial HVAC/R environments only. Residential-only experience will not be considered. * Safety Certifications: Working at Heights, Aerial Platform, and WHMIS certifications are highly preferred. * Driver's License: Clean Ontario Driver?s Abstract and valid G License. * Technical Skills: Strong ability to read blueprints, schematic diagrams, and manufacturer specs. Work Environment & Physical Demands * Commercial Settings: Work is conducted in retail plazas, office towers, institutional buildings, and light industrial facilities. * Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work outdoors on rooftops in variable weather conditions. * On-Call Rotation: Participation in a scheduled emergency on-call rotation is required Pay: $45.00-$50.00 per hour Work Location: In person- Location Concord, ON
