Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Tasks: Assess potential institutional, business or individual client markets. Calculate premiums. Establish client insurance coverage. Establish method of payment. Identify potential markets. Ensure appropriate forms, medical examinations and other policy requirements are completed. Monitor insurance claims and respond to clients' enquiries. Provide customer service. Provide information concerning group and individual insurance packages, the range of risk coverage, benefits paid and other policy features. Supervision: 3-4 people. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Tight deadlines. Attention to detail. Sitting. Combination of sitting, standing, walking.
