*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pest Control Technician to join our team. This role involves providing effective pest management solutions to residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of pest control methods, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently. A background in sales is a plus, as you will be responsible for educating clients about our services and recommending appropriate solutions. *Duties* * Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest infestations and determine appropriate treatment methods. * Apply pesticides and other pest control products safely and effectively, following all safety protocols and regulations. * Utilize hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery as needed for various pest control tasks. * Maintain accurate records of services performed, including treatment plans and customer interactions. * Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions about pest control practices. * Educate clients on preventative measures to minimize future infestations. * Stay updated on industry trends, pest behavior, and new treatment methods to enhance service delivery. *Qualifications* * Previous experience in pest control or a related field is preferred but not required. * Strong sales skills with the ability to persuade clients on the benefits of services offered. * Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. * Ability to operate farm machinery when necessary for specific tasks. * Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service. * Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team. * A valid driver's license is required for travel between job sites.
