Tasks: Interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications to plan methods or sequences of operation . Operate heavy equipment. Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks. Measure distance, volume, length and weight. Complete onboard and other logs. Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment. Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment. Perform minor repairs to equipment. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Driver's License (Class 1 or A). Driver's License (Class 3 or D). Type of heavy equipment operated: Backhoe excavator, loader. Bulldozer, large or small. Loader. Type of industry experience: Industrial/commercial/institutional (ICI) construction. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Attention to detail.
