We look forward to serving our customers and resolving issues they face today and tomorrow. *Position Summary* The Painter is responsible for supporting the preparation, coating, and finishing of components and equipment while contributing to product quality, durability, and overall shop operations. This role includes surface preparation, painting, touch-ups, equipment maintenance, and assisting with other general shop duties as required. *Key Responsibilities* · Prepare and paint components, equipment, and new machines with guidance from engineering and production requirements · Provide input to improve manufacturability, serviceability, durability, and finish quality · Perform surface preparation including cleaning, sanding, masking, and corrosion removal · Apply coatings using spray equipment, brushes, and other painting tools · Complete touch-ups, finishing work, and quality checks on painted items · Assist with equipment repair, testing, and occasional light fabrication or welding as needed · Maintain painting equipment, work areas, shop tools, and general shop cleanliness · Support other general shop duties as required *Qualifications* · Industrial painting experience preferred, with strong mechanical aptitude · Automotive industry painting experience is an asset · Working knowledge of surface preparation, coatings, spray equipment, and finishing techniques · Familiarity with safety procedures, personal protective equipment (PPE), and shop maintenance practices · Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills *What We Offer & Benefits* · Competitive pay · Extended health care · Dental care · Vision care · Disability insurance · Life insurance · Employee assistance program · On-site parking · Profit sharing Please apply with your resume and salary expectations in Word or PDF format We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted Pay: $17.65-$34.06 per hour Benefits: * Dental care * Disability insurance * Employee assistance program * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking * Profit sharing * Vision care Work Location: In person- Location Calgary, AB
