Job details
*Definition:* Overall responsibilities are to clean and maintain the Hollandia facility in a manner that prevents contamination of Hollandia food products by physical, chemical and biological contaminants. *Responsibilities: * * Clean and de-grease production equipment, including rotary dies, wire cut dies, ingredient pails, dough troughs, buckets, topping machinery, icing toppers, and mesh cooling conveyors. * Ensure proper sanitation of conveyors and packaging equipment, including allergen control. * Maintain sanitation of facility lunchroom, change rooms, and all washrooms. * Clean around and under machinery during production breaks while equipment is idle. * Immediately clean spills of ingredients (liquid or solid) to prevent contamination throughout the plant. * Maintain the production floor, garbage disposal area, and waste dough disposal in a clean state through regular sweeping and mopping. * Ensure all garbage and scrap containers are emptied by the end of the shift. * Wash and dry mop floor surfaces, ensuring they are free of clutter. * Conduct sanitation work outside the plant to clean up spills after bulk ingredients have been delivered. * Perform snow shoveling duties at employee and shipping/receiving entrances, and emergency exits when needed. * Follow proper handling procedures for sanitation chemicals, including WHMIS requirements * Ensure adherence to workplace safety guidelines and sanitation protocols. * Completion of all ?Non-Production Area Sanitation Forms? on a weekly basis * Completion of all ?Production Area Sanitation Forms? on a weekly basis with the help of Utility Personnel * Completion of the ?Master Sanitation Schedule? in accordance with the given timelines on a yearly basis * Assist (when required) Utility Personnel with the completion of the daily ?Mixing Room Equipment Sanitation Record? * Inventory of all cleaning and janitorial products ? inform HACCP Coordinator for re-ordering *Requirements:* * Applicant has worked in a sanitation/cleaning role or has a working knowledge of cleanliness duties * Applicant has a sense of organization and can work under direction and/or unsupervised * Applicant has the physical ability to lift repeatedly, can climb ladders and is comfortable at heights * Skills required: sweeping, mopping, wiping, vacuuming, and dusting. WHMIS training an asset for chemical use. * Documentation of all duties completed is CRITICAL ? applicant must be able to record and sign off on work completed. _*PLEASE NOTE THAT, THIS POSITION IS FOR ROTATION, AFTERNOON AND NIGHT SHIFTS. *_ Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.70-$20.76 per hour Work Location: In person- Location Mount Brydges, ON
