<p><strong>Mechanical Superintendent ? Civil Construction</strong></p><p></p><p><strong>Maple Reinders</strong> is currently looking to add an experienced Mechanical Superintendent for the Duffin Creek WPCP project in Pickering, Ontario</p><p>As a <strong>Mechanical Superintendent</strong> with our Civil Division, you will oversee site staff, field engineering, and field teams accountable for delivering completed projects with a focus on Water/Wastewater, Food & Beverage processing facilities, and Clean Energy infrastructure. Maple Reinders is a growing organization, continually winning new work across diverse sectors, offering new experiences and challenges. </p><p>At Maple, we look for leaders who can:</p><ul><li>Direct field operations in the delivery of projects by adhering to schedules, budgets, safety and risk.</li><li>Effectively manage field employees by providing guidance and leadership on construction activities and developing effective communication between field and other project staff.</li><li>Develop and execute project work plans aimed at keeping projects on track and on budget.</li><li>Provide senior level presence in the field, coach field staff on issue resolution, review site labour requirements, mentor field staff and perform succession planning.</li></ul><p>Our <strong>Mechanical Superintendent</strong> will oversee projects that vary in size and scope, and the successful candidate should have previous experience in leading construction teams, trades and hourly employees. We would require the Superintendent to travel or stay close to the site; flexibility is a must. We are also focused on candidates who currently have:</p><ul><li><strong>3 to 5 years of construction experience as a superintendent with a General Contractor or a multi-trade contractor.</strong></li><li><strong>Experience with Water/Wastewater, Food & Beverage, or Clean Energy projects.</strong></li><li><strong>Digester experience</strong> would be considered a very strong asset</li><li>Post-secondary education, CET or equivalent, or a Red Seal Trade certification in a related field.</li><li>Proficiency with MS Office and Windows based computer applications (Word, Excel, Outlook and Project)</li><li>Can manage site operations on complex projects in excess of $20 million</li><li>Strong mechanical acumen</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>About Maple Reinders:</strong></p><p>Maple Reinders is one of Canada?s most respected and trusted construction firms, delivering innovative solutions for over <strong>55 years</strong>.
